The vessel is a steel hulled type long line fishing vessel, with three decks, a raked stem, transom stern, five bulkheads and two masts.
The superstructure is fitted aft of amidships, the foredeck is enclosed from the wheelhouse to the bow, there are three refrigerated and insulated holds below the main deck and the engine room is aft below the superstructure.

The vessel is outfitted with Western European style accommodation consisting of:
Boat deck: Skipper’s cabin with day room, fridge, desk, chairs as well as a bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Provision store area below the wheelhouse.
Shelterdeck: Six (6) two man cabins and three (3) shared bathrooms. Each cabin has two bunks, a small desk, day bunk and wardrobes.
One (2) two man cabin with en-suite bathroom, desk, day dunk, book rack and wardrobe.
Three (3) single cabins each with en-suite bathroom, desk, day dunk, book rack and wardrobes.
Laundry with one (1) x ELECTROLUX SENSOR DRY tumble dryer, one (1) x MIELE PT 7136 tumble dryer, one (1) x MIELE PW 6055 and one (1) x MIELE PW 5065 washing machine.
Domestic walk in fridge at top of stairwell.
Galley with VARIMIXER BEAR dough mixer, LG DIRECT DRIVE INVERTER dish washer, double stainless steel sink, BEHA HEDO gimbal pan, overboard scupper, BEHA HEDO deep fryer, 3-plate BEHA HEDO electric stove with oven, extractor hood and SIEMENS fridge/freezer.
Mess room which has been outfitted with additional tables and seating for the crew, side board, small fridge, water cooler, toaster, rice cooker, microwave and a BEHA HEDO Bain Marie.
Open plan lounge area off the mess room with couches, coffee tables, television cabinet and AOC flat screen television.
A new accommodation area consisting of a dry provision store, two (2) x four man cabins with a shared bathroom and two (2) two man cabins each with their own bathroom.
Main deck: Sauna and shower which has been converted into a dry store area.
Deck crew change room with coffee bar area with seating and coffee table, sink, hot water system as well as six lockers for the deck crew, four lockers for the officers, public toilet, laundry area with SAMSUNG DV665JW tumble dryer and a 7KG LG washing machine.

Built: 1998 – Hull was built at STX RO Offshore, Braila SA, Romnai and then completed at Blálid Slip& Verksted AS, Raudeberg, Norway.
The vessel was lengthened in 2012 by the addition of an 8 metre section between frames 48 and 49 and a new deck was inserted between frames 41 and 65 in South America.
The vessel has two main fish holds which are common through a removable bulkhead patch of about 302 tonnes total capacity. The holds are insulated and refrigerated and have a lift installed for the transport of fish to the hold.
There is a separate bait hold aft of 62 m3 which also has a lift installed.
The vessel is outfitted with a factory deck suitable for the processing of tooth fish and other species. The equipment noted consisted of:
- Two (2) MAREL M200 electronic scales
- One (1) PESAMATIC electronic scale
- One UNISYTEM Sweden U13702 scale
- One (1) DYNARIC DF-117S strapping machine
- One (1) stainless steel transport conveyor in way of the bleed tanks
- Two (2) stainless steel holding tanks and Observer weighing/measuring station
- Heading stations and three (3) small stainless steel holding tanks
- Three (3) stainless steel bleed and wash tanks
- Incline conveyor for offal transport to the IRAS macerator
- Two (2) blast freezer compartments (capacity about 3 tonnes and about 5 tonnes)
- Two (2) vertical DSI plate freezers type V-3 20/100 (2009)
- One (1) horizontal DSI plate freezer type H-1/8 with a volume of 208 litres
- HP washing machine
- Seven (7) scupper pumps
- One new macerator unit.
The port forward factory deck area houses the refrigeration compressor room and a small work bench with vice.
There is a lift from the hold into the factory area forward as well as the two offloading hatches.
The starboard factory deck houses the hauling station with the line hauler, stainless steel receiving bin and chute to the factory. There is an anchor rack, buoy rack as well as space for the line storage.
The forward lower focsle store is used as a storage area for plastic drums and fishing gear. There are two (2) hydraulic power packs for the fishing gear and windlass located in this area.
There are two offal tanks located below the factory and within the fish hold which are used for the storage of offal from the factory. The offal tanks have a dedicated pump room, aft of the starboard side tank wherein the offal discharge pumps and piping is located.
The vessel has fully enclosed shelterdeck area above the factory deck extending from the wheelhouse to the bow. The forward areas are fitted with wooden pond areas, racks and steel cages which are used for the storage of fishing gear.
The vessel is equipped with a new BS from BFG long line magazine system. The long lines and hooks were still to be installed on the vessel.
There is a stainless steel bait bin and a MUSTAD baiting machine at the aft shooting station.
The vessel is equipped with the following deck equipment:

Deck cranes: PALFINGER PK 1100M crane rated at 1.5T SWL at 8.2 metres forward.

Tori Line Davits: Two (2) Tori line davits with winches were being mounted on the aft poop deck.
Anchor winch: RAPPHYDEMA Hydraulic anchor winch with two (2) chain gypsies (clutchable) and two (2) anchors and chains. The anchor chains and chain gypsies have been replaced.
